Description
Type II Waterside Security Barrier Technical Attributes Type II Waterside Security Barrier Draft Statement of Work The purpose of this Synopsis is to announce the Government's intent to solicit competitive offers from Small Businesses for the requirements set forth in the attached Statement of Work. The official solicitation is anticipated for release by 4 P.M. Central Tuesday, 21 February 2017. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City has the requirement for a Commercially Available, Fully Automated, Waterside Security Barrier as well as the associated technical, installation, and sustainment services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Barrier System Technical Attributes. The scope of this SOW encompasses the initial site survey, preliminary site design, establishing of barrier module characteristics, system configuration, mooring system characteristics, barrier operation training materials, as well as the procurement of the necessary barrier equipment, associated installation effort and standard warranty coverage of the waterside security barrier. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract consisting of delivery of a fully installed and operational waterside security barrier 12 months after contract award as well as 12 months of sustainment support following Government acceptance of the waterside security barrier is anticipated. The applicable NAICS Code is 332510 and the Small Business size standard is 750 employees. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Vendors may obtain information on registration via the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
