Description
This Statement of Work defines the effort required for the design, engineering, development, fabrication and test of three Dual Band Transmitter Power Supply Prototypes. Background. The Airborne Transmitter program has been initiated to design, develop, and produce an airbornc transmitter that can emit in two frequency bands. The dual Band Transmitter Power Supply (DBTPS) is a component of that system, accepting high-voltage power from an input power line and converting it to DC voltages powering the other components. The other principal components are the Solid-State Dual-Band Amplifier (SSDBA), the forward and rear antenna assemblies, and telemetry and control circuit board. The effort here described is intended to obtain for the US Naval Research Laboratory: a. a design of a power supply that meets the requirements of the Specification for Dual-Band Transmitter Power Supply; b. an Engineering Development Model (EDM); c. three Prototypes, and if required, one auxiliary supply; and design documents and test data for the EDM and any Prototypes. All tasks shall be completed no later than 24 months after contract award (ACA).
