- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA San Diego Healthcare System, has a requirement to provide "Sewer Line Replacement (Int.), Building 1, at VA San Diego Healthcare System, San Diego, CA A Firm-Fixed Price award is anticipated. Provide services to include all tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to construct all applicable demolition, asbestos abatement, lead abatement, walls, partitions, interior finishes, fire protection system modifications, fire alarm system modifications, security system modifications, controls, mechanical and electrical work and other services necessary for Project 664-14-515, to provide Sewer Line Replacement (Int.), Building 1, as required by Drawings and Specifications. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Period of Performance for this project will be 440 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. Interested bidders must be listed in the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov and currently registered in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov Solicitation documents, including technical specifications and project drawings will be available electronically on or after February 28, 2017; at www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested bidders should search for solicitation VA262-17-B-0367 to access solicitation documents and any amendments. A Ninety day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid Bond will be required. Only Hardcopy bids will be accepted. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be conducted. Date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation.
