Description
(Please note that the solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.) The Embassy of the United States in Moscow, Russian Federation will issue a solicitation for regular maintenance and repair of 44 air-conditioner installed at the Embassy residential locations on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. This is a firm-fixed-price contract for the services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. The contractor shall provide the U.S. Embassy Moscow with regular inspection and maintenance of 44 air-conditioner units in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications. All air-conditioner units were produced by Carrier Company in different times and have different specifications. Minor repairs will be required if detected after inspections. Emergency repairs shall also be required. The cost of emergency calls as well as the cost of expendable materials and spare parts shall be included in the total fee for maintenance and repair services. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation during the month of February 2017. Again, this solicitation will be issued via this website and on the Embassy's website at: http://moscow.usembassy.gov/bids.html. Note: The response date in this FEDBIZOPPS is not a firm date. Please see the RFQ for the actual date. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date and location for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.statebuy.state.gov/pd/Pages/AdditionalVendorReg.aspx No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
