Description
The FDA regulates all medical gases in the US. (FDA Compliance Program Guidance Manual 7356.002E, March 15, 2015 and or the most updated version). All medical gas suppliers are familiar with this FDA requirement. All vendor shall supply with its quote information and the certificates and registration and identifier of the liquefaction facility  and all intermediate facilities according to FDA requirements. This requirement also encompasses the assays, tests and analysis of each lot, truckload. The transport vehicles shall conform to US DOT Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations and Commonwealth of Massachusetts requirements regarding shipping and placarding of your vehicle fleet.   Contractor should be able to supply the VAMC with its current DOT/Commonwealth of Massachusetts categories of all fleets that are in compliance with all applicable regulations. Delivery drivers should have updated CDL licenses and updated HAZMAT/FMCSA training commensurate with US DOT and Commonwealth of Massachusetts requirements along with Homeland Security Secure Driver s license checks / back ground checks if applicable. The  US Department of Veterans Affairs requires adherence to best practices of the CGA (Compressed Gas Association) and  FMSCA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) ; potential contractors should submit information sufficient to support a conclusion that your enterprise understands ANY AND ALL industrial standards including adherence to CGA standards and practices for Bulk Medical Oxygen, etc.   Bing Chen Contract Specialist
