Description

SYNOPSIS This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to obtain information from all qualified businesses, with special interest in seeking: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Business Concerns. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any incurred in developing information provided to the Government. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMEMT The Atlanta VA Medical Center (AVAMC) located at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur Georgia anticipates a requirement for X-Ray Imaging Services. Contractor will provide X-Ray Imaging Services for the Atlanta VAMC referred patients. The contractor will provide ARRT certified technologists and provide digital radiology equipment that has the capability to produce a wide range of general diagnostic (plain radiology) images. It is the intent of the VA Medical Center to have the images digitally transferred to the Picture Archiving Communication System located at the main hospital immediately upon completion. The contractor must provide their own imaging equipment that is compatible with the VA Radiology Information System (VISTA) and the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS). The contractor s equipment must be on the approved DICOM Modalities Interfaces list from IMS; Joint VA/DoD DICOM Modality Conformance Requirements (Rev 3.0) (see http//www.va.gov/imaging). The contractor will acquire images on their equipment, electronically store the images and DICOM send them to a specified file server located at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. All images will be obtained and transmitted electronically. No physical media is exchanged. The Community Outpatient Based Clinics are open Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays.
