Heat Exchanger Recondition and Supply, IDIQ Solicitation Number: R17PS00431 NAICS: 332410 Classification Code: 4420: Heat Exchangers and Steam Condensers Agency: Department of the Interior Office: Bureau of Reclamation Location: Bureau of Reclamation-All Offices Notice Type: Sources Sought Posted Date: 02/09/2017 Response Date: 02/24/2017 SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Heat Exchanger Recondition and Supply, IDIQ This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for acquisition planning purposes ONLY. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION FOR THIS WORK EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking responsible sources having capabilities to perform the transporting, constructing, and reconditioning of heat exchangers at the Hoover Dam, Nevada, Davis Dam, Arizona, and Parker Dam, California, facilities. The contractor will perform work that consists of transporting, constructing, and reconditioning heat exchangers as identified per individual Task Order Statements of Work. The contractor will not install heat exchangers under this contract. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, management, and financial capability of such offerors to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. Capability statements should demonstrate the firm's experience and capability to perform the principal components of services listed above. Packages should include the following information: Provide: (1) Business Name and Address; (2) Point of Contact to include E-Mail Address and Telephone Number; (3) DUNS; (4) NAICS code(s) applicable to this requirement; (5) Business Size and Type: 8(a), HUBZone, Women-owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business, Large Businesses, etc.; (6) Demonstrate the firm's experience by providing a list of at least three comparable projects completed within the past five years in which your firm completed similar work on comparable structures. If comparable experience is provided, firms must communicate how the project is 'comparable' to this requirement. All businesses are encouraged to limit responses to not more than 10 pages in length. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential contractors for solicitation planning purposes only. This is NOT a request for proposals and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. When it is determined that a formal solicitation will be issued, a Pre-Solicitation Notice will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
