DESCRIPTION: Scope includes installing a tube‐steel wale, tube‐steel anchor beams, and thread‐bar tiebacks along nominally 980 feet of existing 24" diameter pipe pile bulkhead in Bethel, Alaska upstream from the mouth of Brown's Slough. Ancillary work will include the excavation and backfilling necessary for the structural work as well as removal and reinstallation of miscellaneous items such as sections of plate steel wall caps and guard rails. Backfilling will include driving of washout protection angles, geotextile fabric, and imported filter rock.
