The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain Region is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Responses to this Market Survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB 8(a)'s), small businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), etc. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform all work necessary to complete a major mechanical sustainment project. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. No contract of any kind will result from this announcement. ______________________________________________________________ NAICS CODE FOR THIS PROJECT IS 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million. _____________________________________________________________ ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE OF PROJECT: BETWEEN $5.0 Million and $10.0 Million. ______________________________________________________________ ****SUMMARY OF WORK**** SEE ATTACHED _____________________________________________________________ All areas of the facility will remain occupied and functional throughout the project. This is a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year air traffic control facility with critical operations to support the flying public. In order to qualify for this project, the contractor will be required to have experience with similar large dollar multi-discipline projects at a 24 hour critical operations facility such as another FAA facility, hospital, etc. ______________________________________________________________ To respond to this market survey, please email a capability statement to cindi.tjelde@faa.gov.
