- Industry Day Feb 24, 2017 Invitation DLA Strategic Materials cordially invites you to our Industry Day on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Andrew T. McNamara Headquarters Building located at 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. This event will provide an opportunity for industry leaders, vendors, and DLA Strategic Materials customers to engage in a robust and open dialogue about business opportunities with DLA Strategic Materials and each other. The DLA Strategic Materials staff will lead a discussion on upcoming projects available within the Sales & Acquisitions programs, based on the approved 2017 National Defense Authorization Act and will provide information on the steps necessary for doing business with DLA. The agenda will include the approved Legislation for FY 17, an overview of the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) program, Market Research, and updates on Sales Streamlining. We hope this event will allow attendees to learn more about the acquisitions and sales programs of DLA Strategic Materials. We solicit your candid feedback on how we can improve our processes/products and how you can help us achieve our mission. Please RSVP by email to: SMContracting@dla.mil by February 15, 2017.
