- U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: Lease Procurement: GS-05P-LMI00087 6MI0248 State: Michigan City: Detroit Delineated Area: North: Hamtramck & I-94 South : I-94 (Ford Fwy) and 39 (Southfield Rd) East: Detroit and Elliott Street West: West I-96 and I-39 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 71,806 usf Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 78,987 usf Space Type: Office, Lab Parking Spaces (Total): 190 Parking Spaces (Surface): 160 Parking Spaces (Structured): 30 Parking Spaces (Reserved): Full Term: 15 years Firm Term: 10 years Option Term: Additional Requirements: Action : Choose whether or not a fully serviced lease is required. Also choose 100 year floodplain unless requirement is identified by agency as a critical action. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Action : for fbo postings, insert the following language only for potential sole source succeeding lease actions. Delete for procurement summary page. do not use for full and open procurements. note that any figures used for a cost benefit analysis (CBA) must be supportable. Consideration of “non-productive agency downtime” in a CBA should be rare. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Detroit, Michigan that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Submission Requirements - Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum (This is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals): 1) Building name/address/building ownership information; 2) Location of space in the building and date it will be available; 3) Rentable square feet (RSF) offered and rental rate per square foot, specifying services, utilities, and tenant improvement allowance included as part of the rental rate; 4) ANSI/BOMA defined office area (ABOA); 5) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered (electronic, Auto- CAD); 6) Name, address, telephone number and email address of authorized contact. Action : For FBO postings, delete “offers due;” for procurement summary, keep “offers due” and delete “(estimated)” from dates.
