Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Office requires various brand-name musical instruments in support of the Navy School of Music located in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a sources sought notice ONLY. There is no solicitation available at this time. The synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This effort is to seek out qualified sources (large or small) capable of providing the products listed herein. Vendors capable of satisfying this government need are encouraged to respond to this notice by the 17th of February 2017. The submission of information is for planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services. The information will not be returned, and no compensation will be provided from any response to this announcement. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested: 1. Business size and status of your company 2. Suggested North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 3. Have you performed the same or similar work in the past? 4. Have you managed a contract of this nature? 5. What are your specific technical skills that will ensure your capability to perform the requirement? Interested sources should send required information electronically ONLY to larissa.benoit@navy.mil. Submission is limited to a maximum of 10 pages. Requests for a solicitation package will NOT be honored nor will technical point of contact information be provided.
