- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Plessas Experts Network, Inc located at 13800 Coppermine Road, Herndon, VA 20171 for the acquisition of Social Media Exploitation Classes for both English and Spanish Speaking. Plessas Experts Networks teaches the Social Media Exploitation training courses tailored specifically for DEA needs. The course goes over the following but not limited to: Operation Security, Evaluating Websites, Advanced Search, People Search, Alternative Search Engines, Exploiting Online Photographs, RSS, Social Networks, and gives students the investigative tools needed to help with the current cases. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. The business size standard is 11M dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is February 6th, 2017, at 10:00am Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Kaitlyn.M.Mahafkey@usdoj.gov.
