Description

NAVSUP Weapon System Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Pacific Propeller International (10210) located in Kent, WA, for the overhaul of NSN/NIIN: 7RE 1610 00-887-1944 in support of the P-3 aircraft. NAVSUP WSS plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 20 FEB 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The RFP is anticipated to remain open for 30 days. The intention of this solicitation is to award a Four (4) Year Repair Requirements Long Term Contract. Please see attached documentation. Pacific Propeller International is the only known approved source for providing overhaul and repair support for the P-3 propeller assembly. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Government Source Approval is required. Only the previously approved source will be solicited for this requirement. Any other interested sources will be required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. A SAR brochure is available upon request. There are neither drawings nor technical data available for these items. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Christina Vidal, Contract Specialist, (code N732.46), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
