This amendment is an errata to the Statement of Work (SOW). Question 1: Paragraph 1.1.1 Vessel Identification and Projected Period of Performance of the above referenced Solicitation indicates that Navy Hull No. 36PB0609 has a partial work requirement. Please indicate and describe this partial work requirement in the solicitation? Answer 1: The partial work requirements that are applicable for HSB609 are listed as follows: Work Preparation items 3.2.1 to 3.2.7, 3.2.10, and 3.2.11. Work Items 3.6.3 and 3.6.10 to 3.6.17. All the items in 3.7 Preservation and Painting. The Contractor must follow the applicable requirements when installing the bilge blowers, vents and drain holes on HSB609, which is already bilge coated. As a rule, the Contractor will need to repair all bilge, hull, and superstructure paint and non-skid during the course of work using the specified products and application procedures. The contractor will also be required to adhere to the appropriate Work Preparation items. Question 2: 5-way Breakdown: There is no provision on this sheet to itemize the costs for paragraphs; 1.0 through 2.3. There are cost associated with a number of these paragraphs. How do you want us to account for these costs? Will you add line items to the 5-way breakdown? Will we need to incorporate these costs into the existing line items for each boat? Answer 2: The contractor will need to account for the costs incurred for this project as per their own business practices. Question 3: Drawing #3 (reference 42) and Drawing #4 (reference 43) both refer to a part numbers R3 and R4 and also 3 and 4. The parts list on reference 44 only lists parts 1 and 2. What are parts R3 and R4 and also 3 and 4? See answer to questions 3 to 5 below. Question 4: Reference 45, Swim Platform Stiffener Removal, calls our parts R2 and R3. R3 is also called out as part 2 which is a 1/4" thick chock, but it is also referred to on reference 45 as the 11 each stiffeners, and as R1. Is there a detail somewhere which clarifies what is being looked at as there are multiple parts with the same number? See answer to questions 3 to 5 below. Question 5: Reference 45, Swim Platform Stiffener Removal, calls out a part, R2. On Reference 46, Swim Platform Stiffener Installation, that same part is called out as ~ (padeye). What is the detail of this padeye? What is the thickness of this padeye, to get an accurate cost? Answers 3 to Answers 5: Attached with are the drawings for the repairs which will answer the Question 3 to Question 5 as above. The following are attached to this Amendment: 36PB (MOOSE) SIDE SHELL PLTG RMVL (DRAWING #1).pdf 36PB (MOOSE) SIDE SHELL PLTG INSTL (DRAWING #2).pdf 36PB (MOOSE) TRANSOM PLTG RMVL (DRAWING #3).pdf 36PB (MOOSE) TRANSOM PLTG INSTL (DRAWING #4).pdf 36PB (MOOSE) SWIM PLATFORM STIFFENER RMVL (DRAWING #5).pdf 36PB (MOOSE) SWIM PLATFORM STIFFENER INSTL (DRAWING #6).pdf 36PB (MOOSE) SWIM PLATFORM STIFFENER FAB (DRAWING #7).pdf
