- Solicitation and attachments to include Statement of Work and Specifications. The NASA/SSC Office of Procurement intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of a Thrust Measurement System (TMS) for the A2 Test Stand located at the John C. Stennis Space Center, Mississippi 39529. These components include load cells, flexures and hydraulic actuators which the government will install on the A2 Test Stand. The estimated period of performance or lead time for delivery is one year. The government intends to acquire these commercial items using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. There will be only one award made for this requirement. This notice of intent is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) for competition. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort, in writing, to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. (local time) on January 5, 2017. Statement of capabilities must contain sufficient details to review vendor's capabilities. Submissions will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334519 and 500 respectively. FOB is destination. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about January 10, 2017. See package contents in the files section of this announcement to review the Scope of Work 200GF-G029 and Technical Specification 200GF-G028.
