- This is a presolicitation notice for a requirement to furnish, install and paint structural steel cross frames under the existing Painted Creek Bridge. Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals necessary to perform the work. The Painted Creek Bridge is located on the Shoal Cove road system approximately 23 miles by boat from Ketchikan Alaska. The Shoal Cove road system is remote and accessible by either boat or float plane. The bridge is 3.7 miles by road from the Forest Service float and ramp. There is a high tide location at the LTF to unload equipment. A shared Forest Service Float is available to tie up a boat. Anticipated Submittals include: 1. Work Schedule 2. Safety Plan 3. Quality Control Plan 4. Camp Plan Equipment Cleaning will be required prior to mobilizing to the work site. Specific information will be provided in the supplemental specifications when a solicitation is posted. Estimated Price Range (FAR 36.204): Between $25,000 - $100,000 The Government expects to set this requirement aside for Woman Owned Small Business only.
