- Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment Industry Day 2017 Date: 9 March 2017 Time: 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (Check-In starts at 9:00 A.M.) Location: Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada RSVP deadline: 24 February 2017 Dress: Business Casual Cost: Registration for the Construction Exposition (CONEXPO) required; there is no fee to attend Industry Day. No meals provided. The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide Industry with insight into future Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment opportunities and technologies being considered and planned for Army (and other Department of Defense agencies) acquisition. The goal of this forum is to enhance collaboration between Industry and the Product Manager Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment (PdM CE/MHE) and improve industrial base awareness. Opportunities planned for discussion include a General Overview of Combat Engineer/Material Handling Equipment, User Priorities, Rough Terrain Container Handler Service Life Extension Program (SLEP), Sales & Exchange Programs, procurement of a Hydraulic Excavator, procurement of a Portable Asphalt Patcher, Requirements for Operator Assist technologies, procurement of an All-Terrain Crane, and research & development technologies of interest. This is not a "How-To" procurement event. Space is limited; thus, attendance is limited to one attendee per company. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to close registration early should space availability present an issue or increase the number of attendees per company if more space becomes available. Individuals who wish to attend MUST register for the event using the below Industry Day Registration Instructions. Registration closes on 24 February 2017. RSVP acceptance notice will be sent as participants are approved to attend. Please do not call before 24 February to confirm reservation(s). Soil testing and survey capabilities and technologies for a vehicle-mounted lab. 5. Soil reclaimer stabilizers. 6. Material handling equipment operator assist technologies - cameras, sensors, displays, alignment aids and processors for semi- and full autonomy. 7. Hydraulic Excavators. 8. Service Life Extension Programs for construction and material handling equipment. 9. Determining the useful life of construction and material handling equipment. 10. Family of Utility Support Equipment: (1) Aerial Lift Truck; (2) Digger Derrick Truck; (3) Combination Pole/Reel Trailer; and (4) Cable Handling Trailer. 11. All-Terrain Cranes (25 ton capacity). 12.
