- Description
- The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY requests proposals for maintenance improvements at the Missile Launch Facilities (LFs) located in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. This project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement and repair of security fence components and the restoration of the contours, including the access road and vehicle pad. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm­ Fixed Price Requirements Contract. The resulting contract will be one (1) Base Year with four (4) Option Years. This proposed contract is for 8(m) set-aside, 100% Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 237310, Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. The size standard for NAICS 237310 is $36.5 million. The closing date for the receipt of proposals will be on 6 April 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Mountain Time. The statement of magnitude for this acquisition is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The contractor shall abide by all local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations during the performance of the awarded contract. In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) policy, all contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov, to be eligible to receive an award. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 3 March 2017 and will be posted on the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) at https://www.fbo.gov. The projected period of performance for this project is 10 calendar days per site. The contractor will normally work one site at a time; however, the contractor may work up to three (3) sites simultaneously when necessary depending on ordering volume. Working more than one site at a time is at the discretion of the CO and must be closely coordinated with MXG Plans and Scheduling in order to mitigate conflicts with ongoing and forecasted maintenance. This solicitation will be available via internet only, meaning solicitation documents will not be available by any other means.
