- Description
- RFI Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Security Office (OCSO) in support of the Homeland Security Presidential Directive - 12 Program Management Office is seeking information on iris capture devices and associated software interfaces to enable the agency to populate PIV Cards with iris as an alternative authentication modality. To better understand the landscape for capturing and utilizing iris images for identity verification, DHS is gathering information on new capabilities, technology and methods that exist in commercial and government product lines. These products (equipment and resultant image) would need to be compatible with PIV platforms that appear on the GSA Approved Products List (APL), the current Enterprise Issuance Workstations (EIWS), the Identity Management System (IDMS), and the Automated Biometric Identification System (IDENT).
