- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. A SUBSEQUENT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY FOLLOW. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE RESPONSE TO ANY FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT. The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks a Provider/Offeror to Provide Administrative Services at these four building locations in Cleveland and Akron: Location 1: AJC Federal Building, 1240 East Ninth Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44199 Location 2: Carl B. Stokes USCH, 801 W. Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 Location 3: Howard M. Metzenbaum USCH, 201 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44114 Location 4: John F. Seiberling Federal Building & USCH, 2 South Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44308 This service contract includes, but is not limited to the following requirements: The contractor shall perform the required administrative services. Performance will be based on the Government's evaluation of results, not the frequency or method of performance. This will be a performance based contract. The evaluation of results will be based on Contracting Officer and/or designee's inspections, and best trade practices. Only 1 position at each location (for a total of 3) is required. These duties are qualifications under the Department of Labor position of a "Secretary II" Requirements : In general, the administrative/reception service tasks include, but are not limited to: (1) Word processing using Microsoft Office, Word for Windows and typing using on-site software and hardware. Examples are: typing letters/memos from typed, handwritten or from a diskette draft; typing forms; and merging text from different sources into complete properly formatted documents. (2) Responding to priority non-routine work order within the usual scope of clerical/word processor tasks. Maintaining a cooperative approach and supporting the efficient professional work environment of the office. (3) Creating, manipulating, maintaining, and analyzing spreadsheets and databases using Excel and Access (4) Learning other Government software programs. (5) Providing receptionist, faxing, and copier/duplicating functions. (6) Operating a central phone system, receiving and directing calls to Government personnel within the facility, taking and distributing phone messages, and answering general questions. (7) Formulating and accepted Government filing plan. (8) Filing documents according to accepted government filing plan. (9) Sorting and distributing mail for the effective operation of the facility. (10) Addressing and mailing packages and envelopes. (11) Receiving incoming service calls from building tenants. Relaying requests to proper building maintenance personnel and following up with the proper service request documentation. (12) Receiving and confirming conference room reservation requests. (13) Processing paperwork for security clearance for contractors, etc. working on Government functions. (14) Processing paperwork pertaining to the transmittal of financial documents. (15) Other administrative tasks as assigned. (16) Developing and maintaining a current Procedures Manual. The Contractor shall provide a written Procedures Manual covering the key tasks or functions performed by the administrative services positions. Additional procedures will be developed for special projects that are performed by these positions on a continual basis. The Manual will be used as both a training document for back-up employees, as well as a reference document for the current staff. (5) Is your firm woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or Veteran Owned Small Business? The Method of Award is based on past performance and price. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION OR "SOURCES SOUGHT," SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR OFFER. INFORMATION IS TO BE PROVIDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT COSTS OR CHARGES INCLUDING POSTAGE AND SHIPPING WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION.
