- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334519. The Milwaukee VA Medical Center has a need for a brand name MapCHECK 2 Treatment Planning System, Map Check Next generation 2 dimensional real time diode array with OC software interfaces with treatment planning systems to import calculated dose files for comparison to measured dose. General Requirements Product must be an independent 2D measurement array capable of taking physical dose measurements of IMRT treated patients. Product must utilize a diode array detector. Minimum detectors utilized 1527. Minimum field size 32cm x 26 cm Maximum detector spacing 7.07 mm. Minimum sample frequency 50 ms. Max Dose/Pulse 0.2 Gy. Must be compatible with IMRT, Monaco treatment planning system, and be able to work with DICOM exported data. Product must be self-contained with no additional accessories required for setup. Vendor is to provide all software needed to work in conjunction with measurement device. Software platform is to provide staff with a quick reference to compare measured dose points compared to planned dose points. Vendor is to provide 1 year of hardware and software maintenance. Offer a trade in allowance offered? This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334519 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday, February 03, 2017.
