- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 511210. The Milwaukee VA Medical Center has a need for a MIM Software brand name solution to assist in contouring patient scans in order to provide a better, more efficient and more accurate treatment plans. Currently the staff is manually defining the target volumes by a point and click method on existing treatment planning software where typically there are 100 slices per plan with multiple organs contoured. MIM Software provides practical imaging solutions in the fields of radiation oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, neuroimaging, and cardiac imaging. General Requirements Provide minimum of two (2) single user, concurrent licenses Provide minimum of two (2) days (up to ten hours) of training and installation support to install software, setup image transfer, network connectivity, and application training. Provide network requirements of software (must complete and provide out VA form 6550 Appendix A) Provide any server requirements needed for software platform. Provide minimum of one (1) The Assistant storage server software license. Software Requirement System is to be vendor neutral. System is to be able to gather image data directly from Radiation Oncology to include: Siemens Medical Systems Artiste LINAC, Siemens Medical Systems Oncor Impression Plus LINAC, Siemens Medical Systems Somatom Emotion 6 CT Scanner. System is to be able to direct query from Facilities AFGA PACS solution to maximize imaging efficiency and allow staff to incorporate all relevant imaging into treatment planning process. Staff must be able to utile software in the facilities treatment planning system, Elekta Monaco with 4D support and IMRT and VMAT planning modules. System must be able to provide auto-contouring tools to assist staff in developing treatment planning. System must be able to utilize multi-modality images to generate volume contours during the treatment planning process. System must utilize DICOM import and export capabilities. System must be able to provide automation of contour propagation. System must support target volume detention on 4D CT Scans. System must be able to learn from commonly made staff edits on contouring profiles in order to scrip functionality and allow for standardization of work-flows and improved efficiency. System must automatically process incoming patient data (atlas-based generated contours, fusion images, etc.) incorporating workflows. System must automatically archive patients within a specified time frame. Integration of patient positioning during simulation process. Automation of contour propagation using co-pilot and support of target volume detention on 4D CT Scans. Scriptable functionality that allows standardization of workflows and reduction of processing times. Direct query of PACs system to maximize imaging efficiency and seamless way to incorporate all relevant imaging into the treatment planning process. Installation, implementation, and training will be required to ensure the solution is functional, can process all incoming DICOM images, and staff are able to run the program and make editing changes as needed. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 511210 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million.
