- Description
- Agenda DNDO announces the 2017 DNDO Industry and User Day to be held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel Maryland on February 28th and March 1st. Registration for the event must be completed at https://www.schafertmd.com/DHS/DNDO/2017/IndustryAndUserDay by noon EST on February 10th. However, registration for foreign participants (including submission of a Foreign Nationals Form) must be completed by 16:00 EST February 3rd. Additional information (e.g., hotel information, directions, agenda, etc.) is available on the registration site. Please note the registration site requests information from participants on (1) the breakout session topics to be included in the event, (2) questions that should be addressed by the Radiation Detection Operational Users, (3) a brief description of attendees company/organization, and (4) will attendees participate in the no host social at the end of the first day. Please provide your input to these questions when you register. The length of the event has been increased over past DNDO Industry Days for the following reasons: - Exhibit tables are available where companies can display their products and capabilities. - Increased number of Radiation Detection Operational users will be in attendance. These include personnel from CBP, TSA, USCG, National Guard WMD Civil Support Teams, State Law Enforcement, Local Law Enforcement who will support an expanded Operational User Panel and Breakout sessions. - Additional time has been added for networking between event participants. Attached is the draft agenda. Updates to the agenda will be posted on FBO and the registration site. DNDO will be providing exhibit tables that companies may use to display their products and capabilities. There is a limited number of available six and eight feet tables. They will be allocated to companies that register on a first come first serve basis. Instructions are included on the registration site to request a table. DNDO will try to provide the table size requested but makes no guarantee. Please note companies were previously requested to inform DNDO if they were interested in having a table at the event. This request and subsequent responses were only for determining the level of interest in exhibit tables. Companies that had expressed an interest in having a table will not be given a priority and must request a table when they register at https://www.schafertmd.com/DHS/DNDO/2017/IndustryAndUserDay. DNDO will notify companies for which exhibit tables are available by 13 February, 2017 Based on projected participant interest, DNDO will be limiting the number of people that may register for the event to 2 people for each company. A company that has a table may have a third person for staffing the table. If there is additional room to accommodate more participants after registration closes on February 10th DNDO will re- open registration. In that instance, a notice offering the opportunity for additional registrations will be posted on FBO on or about February 11th.
