- PR: 0063882487 SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 16 FEBRUARY 2017; CLOSING DATE: 14 MARCH 2017. This solicitation will result in a Definite Quantity Contract / Firm Fixed Price for the quantity of 410. Approved sources: TRIMAN INDUSTRIES INC 0ZBE8 P/N 160D117203-5 KIRKHILL-TA CO. 75345 P/N 160D117203-5 NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS 26512 P/N 160D117203-5 This item has an AMC/AMSC of 1., This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. Any manufacturer other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sbo/Source%20Approval%20Requests.docx. This procurement is Unrestricted, using Other Than Full and Open Competition. This item has Critical applicability. Export Controls apply. The following terms apply, FOB: Destination, Inspection / Acceptance: Origin. Delivery for this procurement is DLA Direct (Stock). Production delivery is 450 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO). Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK). Government First Article Preproduction approval required. Testing will be in accordance with applicable drawings, specifications and/or Engineering instructions. Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR), apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written proposal. See page 2 of the solicitation for methods of proposal submittal. The solicitation issue date is 16 Feb 2017 with a closing date of 14 Mar 2017.
