Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice to solicit for a contractor to provide Courier and Delivery Services to and from the VA Medical Center Togus, Maine and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located throughout the state. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a 5 year period of performance to commence 4/1/2017 through 3/31/2022 with a 6 month option to obtain Courier and Delivery Services. The overall goal is to meet the VA Maine Healthcare System need by transporting specific items for the laboratory services department and the hospital in a timely and professional manner for the aforementioned locations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) that will be included with the Solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside on or about 2/01/2017. The applicable NAICS code is 492110 with a 1,500 Employee Size Standard. The FSC/PSC is R602. Interested SDVOSBs must be actively verified and registered at www.va.gov/osdbu, previously www.vetbiz.gov in order to be considered for an award. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract.
