- SPECIFICATIIONS FOR BLAST MEDIA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W9127Q-17-T-0004A applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326199 with a size standard of 750 employees. The MSARNG TASMG has a requirement to purchase (CLIN0001) THIRTY-SIX Drums (250lbs/ea) of Recyclable Type V 20/30 Blast Media that meets Mil Spec P85891A, and (CLIN0002) FIFTEEN Drums (250lbs/ea) of Recyclable Type VIII Nanostructure Composite 30/60 Blast Media that meets Mil Spec P85891A. These products are used for aircraft paint removal. The vendor must be able to deliver the media in 250 lb steel drums, pick up the spent media in the same steel drums, and provide on-site training and assistance at no additional charge. The material, steel drums, delivery and disposal of said plastic media blasting material must be provided for a single per pound price. Also include estimated delivery date. The Brand Name or Equal (FAR 52.211-6) for this solicitation is Magic II, 30-60 and the related service provided by U.S. Technology Corporation, 4200 Munson Street North West, Canton Ohio, 44718-2981; CCR Cage Code: 1AM56. Detailed technical data for this material is not available from the Army. Please see attached specifications and data. Award can only be made to those offerors that are registered through the System for Award Management (SAMs). For those that are not registered, you may log onto the Internet at www.sam.gov.
