- Description
- This solicitation is being issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. The solicitation will be unrestricted, issued under FAR Part 12 procedures, and will utilize Other Than Full and Open Competition Procedures as prescribed by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This item will be procured in accordance with manufacturer's code and part number and is available from only one or a limited number of sources. Currently Section B will contain 1 NSN Item managed by DLA Land and Maritime. See table below: NSN, Nomenclature, Approved Contractor (CAGE), Approved Part Number, Estimated Annual Demand Quantity 4820007969680, VALVE, LIQUID OXYGEN, Essex Industries (19062), 20C-0021-2, 691 The solicitation will be available on or about January 27, 2017 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, proposed delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Drawings/specifications will not be available through BSM DIBBS. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4820. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (3 BASE YEARS plus 2 option years) and shall not exceed 5 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1).
