- Description
- The DLA Troop Support intends to solicit for a full-line of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables (FF&V) support for DoD and Non DoD, to include Troops, USDA School and Tribal Reservation customers located in the State of Nebraska. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside acquisition. NAICS code is 311991 with a size standard of 500 employees. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity, fixed-price contract with an economic price adjustment. The anticipated contract length for the award is a total of 4.5 years; which include an 18-month tier followed by two 18-month period performance tiers. The acquisition method is lowest price technically acceptable or (LPTA). The estimated dollar amount for an 18-month tier 1 for Nebraska Troops is $690,771. The 18-month base estimate for group 2 Nebraska Schools and Reservations is $3,466,537.50. Its estimated total maximum dollar amount is $36,000,000.00 including options. The Government intends to make one (1) award based on the lowest technically acceptable offer without discussions; however, it reserves the right to have multiple awards based on the lowest aggregate evaluated price. Offerors are required to offer on all items in the Schedule of Items; failure to do so may result in exclusion from award consideration. The delivery points require indefinite quantities of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables throughout the term of the contract. A more detailed listing of the delivery sites can be found in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by DLA Troop Support. Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ if not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). In order to download and view these documents, prospective offerors will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://adobe.com. Attachments in the solicitation will require Microsoft Office, Word and Excel to open files. The anticipated solicitation will be January 27, 2017 with an award made in November 3, 2016. This solicitation will be issued under FAR 15.101-2 Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The resultant award will be for an indefinite delivery contract, with a guaranteed minimum of 10% of the base period.
