Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Department requires the following: The VA Illiana Health Care System located in Danville, Illinois operates the neoPost mail processing system within the mailroom at the Danville VA Medical Center located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832. Contractor shall provide a monthly rental unit for facility usage. Contractor shall also furnish all parts, labor, supervision, material, test equipment, and emergency services, including transportation cost necessary to perform four (4) preventative maintenance services and unlimited emergency repairs, if and when the system is not functioning in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Contractor shall also provide all required software updates. The equipment is located at the VA Illiana Health Care System, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois 61832. The period of performance is March 1, 2017 through February 28, 2018, with Four additional One (1) Year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside with a North American Industry Classification System code of 532420, with a size standard of $32 Million. The solicitation will issue January 12, 2017 and responses will be due on February 3, 2017 at 4PM CST. Please see attachments for solicitation submission details and requirements. All Requests for Information (RFI s) shall be submitted by 4PMCST, Tuesday January 25th, 2017. Responses to RFI s shall be posted by COB Thursday January 27, 2017.
