- DRAFT SOW THIS SOURCES SOUGHT POSTING IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Background The Library of Congress (Library) Music Division holds a collection of Copyright Deposit materials at a storage warehouse located in Landover, Maryland. These 18,000 records require re-boxing and inventory updates to prepare them for eventual transfer to permanent storage at the Library's Ft. Meade campus. The statement of work and required productivity benchmark is based on work completed for deposits from this collection by the staff of the Library's Music Division. The Government anticipates a single-award, Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Anticipated Period of Performance: one year from date of award Sources Sought Instructions This sources sought is a market research tool being used to (a) solicit industry input on the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) and Music Copyright document and (b) determine potential sources that are capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP). Specifically, the Library wishes industry feedback on the following questions: 1. Does your company have experience with providing the re-housing and inventory updating services required for the collection of 18,000 Music Division Copyright Deposits as described in the attached SOW? Is your company able to guarantee the availability of the required technician and project management staff throughout the entire project to ensure completion within the specified period of performance? 2. Is your company able to provide the required services at the Library of Congress offsite storage warehouse located in Landover, Maryland? 3. Is the one year period of performance feasible to complete the entire project? 4. Is the draft SOW clear and comprehensive enough for offers to be made? Please provide feedback on areas of the SOW that need clarification and/or more information; specifically any barriers to free and open competition and any text in the sow that is vague or unclear to prospective offerors. Interested parties are invited to submit a capability statement package, including responses to questions, inputs to the draft SOW, and relevant experience and expertise. All responses must include the following information: Company Name; Company Address; and Point-of-Contact (POC) name, phone number, and e-mail address. There is no page limit to this response. Submissions must be received by email no later than 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday February 15th, 2017.
