- Draft Past Performance Questionnaire Draft Ordering Instructions Draft Performance Work Statement Draft Request for Proposal Note: This notification replaces that which was released under number AG-02NV-S-16-0025. The Forest Service is pursuring a competitive five year (base year plus four one-year options) multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for professional services. The Government anticipates making two awards from this action. The approximate start date for the contract(s) is 15 August 2017. The ceiling amount of each contract is $12.5M. It is anticipated the the formal RFP will be released as a 100% small business set-aside. The work areas that the contractor is responsible to perform include analysis, consultation and expertise in determining and/or delivering innovative approaches to solving questions related to Forest Service business requirements through the use of geospatial tools, models, and analysis procedures. These services include advanced analysis of raster, vector and imagery based data sources. Services also include geospatial training and support in natural resource application and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing; Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and mobile field collection systems. The contractors provide geospatial scripting and modeling support to GTAC system operations such as FS-Topo, the web-based application that facilitates compilation and delivery of customized map products, and Active Fire Mapping. These services are considered professional in accordance with the definition in 29 CFR § 541.301 and require key personnel possessing an advanced degree in a scientific area generally in a physical, biological, environment, or natural resource discipline as well as a minimum level of actual experience. A draft solicitation is being posted for industry feedback. The Government shall not be bound to the information contained in this draft however, it is anticipated that the final will be similar to this draft. Questions and feedback concerning these draft documents is requested by COB 27 Jan 2017.
