- Description: NSN 2510-00-179-5526 - Shock Absorber, The required quantity is 825 each (EA). FOB and Inspection/Acceptance points as required per the solicitation. The solicitation will include a 100% option that may be exercised at the time of award, or by 14 days prior to final delivery, at the Government's discretion. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about the issue date of 1/20/2017. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical data and drawings are fully visible and readily available. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. There are technical drawings/bid sets available. To view the drawings/specifications, access them only through the following link: https://pcf1.bsm.dla.mil/cfolders. The drawings can be accessed in cFolders by querying 66375179 drawings cannot not be accessed through DIBBS This requires a First Article Test. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 240 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
