Description

VA Miami Healthcare System Research Department intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with their affiliate the University of Miami, pursuant to FAR 6.302-5; in support of their the research project entitled Neuropathic Pain: A Critical Missing Piece in Dry Eye for Veterans who have medical conditions od Dry Eye Syndrome for human genomics research services. The VA Miami has an affiliate agreement with the University of Miami already in place. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, December 28, 2016, 4:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
