- Amendment 0001 Please see the attached documents for complete details. Please also see the SF-30 for Amendment 0001. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine & Aviation Operations (OMAO) Ship Pisces has a requirement for a Furuno brand Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) with upgrade suite plus two remote VHF Stations. A brand name justification form is attached. No installation is required. The shipping is to the NOAA/Gulf Marine Support Facility located at 151 Watts Ave., Pascagoula, MS 39567. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on December 22, 2016; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to alexander.cooper@noaa.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to alexander.cooper@noaa.gov by 4:00 P.M. Eastern on December 19, 2016. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. The anticipated award date is on or about December 28, 2016. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/.
