Synopsis: This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice. THIS IS NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking qualified sources to furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision for Hoover Irrigation Pump Monitoring and Maintenance Services for the South Florida National Cemetery located at 6501 N. State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small-Businesses (VOSB) relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 333911 Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 number of employees. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will also depend on the response to this sources sought synopsis. Description: Scope of Work: South Florida National Cemetery requests the services of Hoover Irrigation Pump Monitoring and Maintenance Services for the Cemetery located in Lake Worth, FL 33449. Hoover Model Number: HC2F-30J5PD-460/3-AMHR2L Hoover Model Number: HT2-100J25PDV-460/3-DFHMR2Z Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all provide Hoover Pump Maintenance Service to the Hoover Model Numbers [1] HC2F-30J5PD-460/3-AMHR2L & [2] HT2-100J25PDV-460/3-DFHMR2Z Service includes 24/7 remote automatic monitoring of the irrigation and pump system via Hoover Flowguard combined with four preventative maintenance visits to the site per year by a Hoover Certified Pump Technician. The following shall be included: Priority Scheduling-When repair service is required. Hoover Flowguard proactive system support and remote access, automated system alerts and warnings via e-mail, priority service scheduling, up to 8 hours assistance from the Hoover Help Desk and written recommendations for problem correction. Pump Control Panel-Test control logic, torque electrical connections to UL specification, treat components with anti-oxidant protective spray, test and replace surge protection components. Variable Frequency Drives-Test and confirm proper operation. Change parameters if required. Air Conditioner-Check and confirm proper operation. Clean filter. Pump motors-Service bearings (if applicable), check operation and current draw against specification. Pumps-Check condition of seal. Confirm flow and pressure performance. Control/Shutoff Valve-Check pilots, clean filter. Calibrate valve, replace worn diaphragm. Flow Meter-Test flow meter and pressure transducer for proper operation. Calibrate flow meter as required by Florida Water Management District upon client request. Pressure Tank-Check and adjust tank precharge pressure as required. Suction Intake-Evaluate intake performance and recommend screen cleaning (if applicable) as required. Adjust self-cleaning screen return pressure and clean filter (if applicable). Discharge Filter-Check operation and clean hydraulic control filters and check controller. Fiberglass Enclosure-Check lockable handle, hinges and opening mechanism. Reports to be submitted upon completion of service call with findings and recommendations.
