- The Government is seeking information regarding industry's capability to provide the following commercial part. Part Name/Description: Control Unit, Navigation Set; Inertial Navigation System (INS); or Inertial Navigation Unit (INU) Part Number: HG9740DU4 Manufacturer: Honeywell International Manufacturer's CAGE: 0BFA5 This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only, and shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, or Request for Proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or part, any contractor input resulting from this request. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposal or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. Parties responding to this RFI are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. Responses should include unit pricing, any quantity price breaks, lead time to produce the units and any special requirements associated with the HG9740DU4. All responses should include a cover page with the following information: a. Company Name b. Mailing Address and Website c. Point of contact, with email address. d. Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code e. Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number f. Identification of business size, i.e. U.S. large or small business in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423690 or 334511. Small businesses must identify any applicable socio-economic categories such as small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, 8(a), woman owned small business, etc. Additional NAICS code applicable to this action: 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing Company information will be verified via the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Responses to this RFI must be unclassified and should not exceed 5 pages in length, be prepared on 8.5 x 11 inch paper, double spaced with fonts no smaller than 10 point, and one inch margins. Each page of the submission shall contain the document identifier in the document header. Responses are preferred in soft-copy form in either Microsoft® Word® or.pdf. Responses must be provided via e-mail. Respondents should ensure labeling of information contained as proprietary. All interested firms are encouraged to respond to this notice by providing the information specified herein, on or before 1700 hours Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 22 December 2016. Information shall be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist identified as the point of contact. Telephone or email requests for additional information will not be honored.
