- Description
- The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated DoD Combat Support Agency that enables the US Army, US Navy, and US Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high quality health services to Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS by: • Implementing shared services with common measurement of outcomes; • Enabling rapid adoption of proven practices, helping reduce unwanted variation, and improving the coordination of care across time and treatment venues; • Exercising management responsibility for joint shared services and the TRICARE Health Plan; and • Acting as the market manager for the National Capital Region (NCR) enhanced Multi-Service Market, which includes Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH). This is a Special Notice for an Industry Day for market research purposes and is not a request for proposals. Interested firms shall not send proposals in response to this Notice. A solicitation will not be issued at this time, and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The purpose of this notice is to obtain industry input to further define the requirements to consolidate the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) and the Active Duty Dental Program (ADDP) contract, with the possibility of also combining with the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) contract into the TRICARE Dental Readiness and Wellness (TDRAW) Transformation. Any information received will be deemed "Source Selection Information" (See FAR 2.101 & 3.104). Information provided to the Government in response to this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation and shall be provided at no cost to the Government. DHA invites interested firms to the TDRAW Industry Day briefing on January 11 at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT). The TDRAW Industry Day briefing will be held at the DHA Aurora, 16401 Centretech Parkway, Aurora, CO 80011. Due to space limitations, interested firms must RSVP and will be limited to ten attendees. Interested firms may request one-on-one meetings with the government to afford them the opportunity to ask additional questions about the TDRAW requirements and share industry input about the TDRAW requirement, including applicable dental industry best practices and initiatives. These one-on-one meetings are NOT for capabilities briefings. These meetings will be scheduled between January 11 - 13, 2017 and are expected to last approximately 90 minutes. Please email RSVPs for the Industry Day briefing, requests for one-on-one meetings and questions or comments on the TDRAW Transformation to Mr. Jack Diemer at jack.r.diemer.civ@mail.mil by 8:00 a.m. MT on December 19, 2016. Please state "RSVP DHA TDRAW Industry Day" in the email subject line. Please include a point of contact (name, title, address, phone and email) that DHA can contact regarding the schedule information for the briefing and the one-on-one meeting. The firm's point of contact will also need to provide a list of the firm's attendees' names, titles, e-mail address, and phone number via e-mail not later than 8:00 a.m. MT on December 19, 2016.
