- VRC Clinical Site Monitoring Services Introduction The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) supports research related to the basic understanding of microbiology and immunology leading to the development of vaccines, therapeutics, and medical diagnostics for the prevention, treatment, and diagnosis of infectious and immune-mediated diseases. The NIAID, Vaccine Research Center (VRC) has a requirement for General Clinical Research Support Services. Description The Contractor will coordinate clinical monitoring activities and complete all necessary clinical trial activities to support the VRC's clinical research efforts and enable the VRC to rapidly establish collaborations with academic institutions and health research organizations in response to the urgent research demands of global importance. This IDIQ will be a small business set-aside and administered and used primarily to support Vaccine Clinical Research initiatives. However, other NIH programs may initiate Task Orders under this IDIQ as necessary to help accomplish their mission. For this solicitation, the NIAID requires proposals to be submitted Online via the NIAID electronic Contract Proposal Submission (eCPS) website. Submission of proposals by facsimile or e-mail is not acceptable. For directions on using eCPS, go to the website https://ecps.niaid.nih.gov and then click on "How to Submit." All questions must be submitted no later than Wednesday December 14, 2016 at 12:00pm to sharee.richardson@nih.gov. Responses will be submitted on or about December 19, 2016.
