The release of the draft SIR has been delayed in the near term until further notices. Updates regarding this requirement will be posted to the FAA Contracting Opportunities website, so please continue to check the back ___________________________________________________________ The purpose of this announcement is to provide an update to the previously announced requirement for an FAA Integrated Service Center. In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA conducted a market survey on May 26, 2016. The purpose of the market survey was to determine the level of competition at various business sizes to fulfill the agency requirement. Based on the results of the market survey, the FAA will proceed with an unrestricted competition. The anticipated award will allow for a 10 year period of performance. The FAA intends to encourage small business participation in this procurement by: - Inclusion of a small business subcontracting plan requirement in the SIR - Remaining open to accepting proposals from teaming arrangements, joint ventures and mentor protégé program participants In an effort to facilitate planning for vendors interested in this procurement, the FAA has outlined the tentative schedule below. Please note that the dates in the schedule are subject to change.
