Description
SOW - Some point of contact info is redacted. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Moffett Field (MF) office is issuing a Sources Sought Notice to determine if there are any 8(a) small businesses that are also Historically Underutilized Business Zone (Hubzone), that can provide Fire Alarm System replacement construction service for the Herrera Hall ARC at 7334 E. Ulysses Ave, Mesa, AZ. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice; all costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the expense of the respondent. Submittals will not be returned to the respondent. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. However, in order to validate an acquisition strategy through efficient market research, small businesses in all socioeconomic categories are encouraged to respond by identifying its capabilities in meeting the requirements. The following information is requested to form a basis for the Contracting Officer to conclude there is a reasonable expectation that small business concerns are capable of satisfying requirement at fair market perices. The period of performance of a contract begins on/about March 2017 and is expected to take approximately 21 days upon the issuance of a notice to proceed. Summary of work: The Contractor shall furnish and install all parts, labor, supplies, transportation, bonds, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide a complete and usable fire alarm system IAW the SOW: plans, specifications, and manufacturer's recommendations. All work shall be free from defects. The contractor shall perform to the standards of the contract. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The proposed NAICS code is 236220 and the business size standard is $36.5M. At this point of the procurement process the MICC-MF office is performing market research to determine the interest of 8(a) small businesses that are also Historically Underutilized Business Zone (Hubzone). However, please respond if you are a SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB and/or a small business.
