Description
This solicitation is a procurement, full and open, for the delivery of Pressurizing Agent Gaseous Helium (NSN 9135-00-890-2011), bulk, shall conform to the requirements of Type I, Grade A of specification MIL-PRF-27407D, dated 01 August 2014. The Government intends to award on Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition procedures. The contract ordering period will be two (2) years from date of award. The Contractor shall provide all product, supplies, management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for delivery of Gaseous Helium FOB Origin in Government-furnished High Pressure Cylinder Assemblies (HPCA). HPCA consists of 25 compressed gas cylinders contained within a metal framework and manifold together to constitute a single bulk container. Ancillary services such as purging cylinders and HPCA repairs are also included. The total estimated contract quantity is 329 MC. Award will be made to the Offeror(s) determined to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Best Value Source Selection Process. Specifically, the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Process will be utilized in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The solicitation is available on the FedBizOpps web page (http://fbo.gov/). If you do not have Internet Access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed copies received directly from the requester will be acceptable. Mail requests to: DLA Energy -FEM, Attn: Patricia A. Bocock, 1014 Billy Mitchell Blvd., Building 1621, San Antonio, Texas 78226-1859. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
