NOTICE is hereby given that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA National Acquisition Center, proposes to initiate abandonment or destruction procedures for a Total of 62 Office Chairs (various types) identified as surplus government property: Item # 365138-6141-71101 Quantity: ONE LOT OF 15 Nesting Chairs (Blue Fabric) Condition: Usable Unit of Issue: lot Total Acquisition Cost: Estimated $900.00 Item # 365138-6141-71102 Quantity: ONE LOT OF 19 Chairs with Casters for conference room (Fabric) Condition: Usable Unit of Issue: lot Total Acquisition Cost: Estimated $4,750.00 Item # 365138-6141-71103 Quantity: ONE LOT OF 6 Chairs with fabric Condition: Usable Unit of Issue: lot Total Acquisition Cost: Estimated $900.00 Item # 365138-6141-71104 Quantity: ONE LOT OF 22 (Miscellaneous) Condition: Usable Unit of Issue: lot Total Acquisition Cost: estimated $5,000.00 2. Beginning on December 1, 2016 until close of business December 9, 2016, subject property will be available for donation to any public body (e.g., an agency of any political subdivision supported wholly or principally by public funds to the general public). After this, all remaining property will be abandoned or destroyed pursuant to Federal Management Regulation (FMR) 102-36.315 3. Subject property is available for inspection at VA National Acquisition Center, Bldg. 37, 1st Ave, One Block North of 22nd Street, Bldg. 37, Hines, IL 60141 from December 1, 2016 To December 9, 2016, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, Hours of Operation: 7:30am to 3:00pm. NOTE: Due to security concerns, entrance to this location may be limited and interested parties are to contact the listed personnel in section 5 upon arrival. 4. Notwithstanding the above, commencing with the posting of this notice and so long as the property is available; the U.S. Government will consider the donation to any public body. Subject property to any interested parties will be donated on a first-come, first-serve basis. 5.
