CANCELLATION NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is RFQDJBP0303M100123 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710 with a small business size standard of $15.00M.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-09-23 14:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be edgefield, SC 29824 The DOJ BOP Field Offices- FCI EDGEFIELD requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with organization-fixed unit prices. The projected requirement is for the following training programs, Carpentry, Commercial Driver?s License, Construction, Custodial/Janitorial, Electrical, Horticulture, HVAC, Laundry, Maintenance, Painting, Plumbing, Warehouse and Welding for the Federal Correctional Institution Edgefield, SC. The requirement will be to provide the participants with the opportunity to obtain National Credential through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and National Credential through Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) to be offered at the institution. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
