Description

This acquisition is being authorized under PR: 66429149 for 350 EA of NSN: 6340-01-454-3052 (SENSING ELEMENT, FIRE DETECTOR SYSTEM). This item is AMC/AMSC coded as 3/Z with one approved source listed as Kidde Technologies Inc (CAGE: 61423) P/N: 53523-015. This item is NOT a Critical Application Item. The acquisition will be solicited as Unrestricted using the procedures of Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination, FOB is at Origin, First Destination Transportation applies. Ship to stock location is New Cumberland, PA. Standard military packing and marking are required. Delivery is requested as 160 Days ARO. The estimated solicitation open date is 12/7/16, with tentative closing date of 12/21/16. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
