- Inventory and Drayage Services This Sources Sought Notice is for market research only. The 65th Contracting Flight, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is conducting market research to determine potential sources having the skills, capabilities and experience necessary to perform the described work. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. No solicitation or Statement of Work are available; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources to provide inventory and drayage services for use primarily for Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining potential sources. Item/Services Description: Non-Personal Service: The services to be performed requires the contractor to provide all management, tools, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to ensure that inventory and drayage operations are performed at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. Services to be performed includes but is not limited to: inventory of items at different locations at Lajes Field, and provide transportation of those items within the base. Capability Statement: The following requests are designed to apprise the 65th Contracting Flight, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal of any prospective waste collection contractor's capabilities. Please provide your response to the following. The submission is limited to 5 pages. All responses are to be submitted in English. •1) Offerors name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, DUNS number, CAGE code, CCR and TIN. •2) Statement of offeror's interest in bidding on the solicitation when issued. •3) Offeror's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity and comparable work performed within the past 5 years in this location area, brief description of the project, customer name, timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, and dollar (euro) value of the project. •4) All interested contractors are required to be registered in SAM ( www.SAM.gov ); to be eligble for award. The Capability Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Proposal or an Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capability Statement. Submission of a Capability Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. All interested contractors should notify this office in writing by email by not later than 5:00 PM Azores Local Time on December 15, 2016. Responses must include sources sought title in the subject line of their email response.
