- THIS IS A BUY INDIAN SET ASIDE The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is soliciting offers to procure for construction supplies for Division of Transportation, Force Accounts Farmington, NM. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. A17PS00097, herein cited is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85. This acquisition is for a Native American Owned Business Small Business Set-Aside under the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C). The NAICS Code is 324121, Size standards in number of employees 500 Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision and incidentals necessary to provide the following: a)3500 tons of hot mix asphalt (type SP-III or equivalent) for a road repair project located near Polacca, AZ at the First Mesa Elementary School. The mix shall meet the requirements of the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-03). Mix delivery and quantities shall be coordinated with the Construction Manager. This project involves several roads and will require several different delivery quantities and times as the work progresses. b)3000 tons of Aggregate Base Course (grading designation C or equivalent) for a road repair project located near Polacca, AZ. at the First Mesa Elementary School. The ABC shall meet the requirements of the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FB-03). Delivery and quantities shall be coordinated with the Construction Manager. c)60 cubic yards of concrete (type -3000 pounds per square inch) for a road repair project located near Polacca, AZ at the First Mesa Elementary School. The Concrete mix shall meet the requirements of the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FB-03P Delivery and quantities shall be coordinated with the Construction Manager and shall be delivered to the Force Account Section Shop located in Farmington, New Mexico. Period of Performance: date of award through November 30, 2017 with option to extend one additional year.
