- Description
- Replacement and maintenance of hoistropes in seven (7) elevators in the Herbert C Hoover Building (HCHB) headquarters for the Department of Commerce. The Department of Commerce intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Quality Elevator Coomppany under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Any inquiries must include a full capacity statement and must be received not later than three (3) days after publication of this synopsis. The government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this announcement. (See FAR 52.203(a)(1)).
