Description

VA69D-17-Q-0052 Notice of Intent to Sole Source reference FAR 6.302-1. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring ENT Microscope and equipment (CARL ZEISS MEDITEC Equipment and S100 Floor Stand) for the VA Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW FAR 6.302-1, Public Law (PL) 109-461, and 38 U.S.C. 8127 a contract to Corps Biologics, LLC 1105 Matheson Dr, Leander, TX, 78641 as a responsible source to provide the above-mentioned equipment. The authority issued by Public Law (PL) 109-461 and VAAR 819.7007 requires VA to increase contracting and subcontracting opportunities for SDVOSBs and VOSBs. The applicable NAICS Code is 334510 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers, and there is no solicitation available. However, all responses received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
