Description
Air Force DFAC PWS Army DFAC PWS The U.S. Government (USG) is contemplating award of a new contract for Kuwait Dining Facilities (DFAC) services. The USG is anticipating the contract type to be a combination of Cost Plus Fixed Fee & Performance Based Incentive Fee contract. The anticipated period of performance of this contract will be a base year of 01 FEB 2018 - 31 JAN 2019 with the possibility of four (4) one-year option periods. The services requested are identified in the attached Performance Work Statements (PWS's) for the following Army and Air Force locations: Army: Camp Arifjan Zone 2 Camp Arifjan Zone 6 Camp Buehring Zone I Kuwait Naval Base Camp Arifjan Oasis Camp Buehring DFAC II Tent Air Force: Ali Al Salem - Desert Winds Ali Al Salem - Silver Bullet Mubarak Any contractor responding to this sources sought should include a capability statement, no longer than 10 pages. This capability statement should include the following: 1. Ability to provide these services over a possible five year period. 2. Availability of in-house resources. Please provide a list of possible countries that third country nationals will be employed from. 3. Ability to provide basic life support services for all employees. 4. Ability and timeframe to replace resources if required. 5. Ability to adjust to labor laws in this geographic area while ensuring services are provided as needed. 6. Any known difficulties in providing food services or working with third country nationals. If applicable, vendors are also encouraged to describe their experience with providing food services in this region within the past three years. Please provide all information to both points of contact identified in this sources sought notice. This is a request for information only. No solicitation will be issued at this time. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the USG.
